Christmas: Thoughts

I wonder what we shall do for Christmas...

Christmas Day falls on a Sunday this year, meaning that any programme on the 24th cannot run too late or else everyone will fall asleep on Christmas Day Service... or the church will have to suffer another stayover in the choir room with everyone sprawled everywhere, and two computer corners: one devoted to CS-ing guys, another devoted to VCD/DVD watching people.

Current options running through my mind (which refuses to study, no matter how hard I try)
1) Ready-made musical
PRO
- Ready-made means no need to think, just follow instructions, add water, wait 2 minutes, and it's done!
CON
- May be expensive
- Storyline may be lame / Songs may be lousy / Musical may be too "American"

2) Write our own musical
PRO
- We know our strengths better than anyone else, can write around who we know can do what
CON
- No brain-juice to squeeze out yet another original idea
- Yuxun says that he can write the songs... just give him two years.

3) Make a movie
PRO
- Quite fun leh. Happening.
CON
- Again, no brain-juice lor. Script get from where?
- Long time to edit.
- English or Chinese? Or Singlish? Or put subtitles? (Subtitles = more time)
- May not film well.
- May not edit well.

4) Continue last year's musical
PRO
- At least got storyline to continue, so brain-juice no need to squeeze so hard
CON
- Does anyone seriously want to see that wig again?!
- Our star actor is stardee-ing in Ozland, may not return this year.

Any other ideas?
